Major delays creating a new site from SharePoint portal (Australia)
Since yesterday we have been unable to create a new SharePoint site from the SharePoint Admin Portal. We are getting messages like the one below that this may take 24 hours.
This does not look normal but there are no reports of problems with SharePoint.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Thank you for providing the link. We did not delete the root site collection or change the template so this cannot be the issue here.
But, from the other response, it does seem that this may be isolated to something in our tenant.
