hi! i'm not savvy when it comes to the administration/domain admin part of sharepoints.
i work for a company and have TWO sharepoint sites i am admin on. i change the looks, do content, build out site pages all the time.
they are both MS365 modern ONLINE.
for some reason a few things are very different.
1) when i hit the EDIT button on the left side navigation, one SP site i can edit the links RIGHT there, edit/promote, etc. on the other SP site, it just takes me to another page entirely called AreaNavigationSettings.aspx
2) when i go to change the look, one SP site shows me two options, theme and header. the other SP site shows me theme, header, AND navigation.
can someone explain why this is happening? thanks!
