Creating a power query connection to a list with a folder structure

Hi All,

 

A sharepoint list can be linked in power query in excel easy enough.

 

I currently have a list and items are contained within a folder structure i.e. each person within a team has their own folder wherein they create and edit all items within their folder. Managers will have access to see all team member items within all folders thanks to the "folders hidden" setting turned off.

 

The issue i'm having is trying to connect the list to power query in excel. It finds the folder but i can't seem to drill down into the folders to see the items.

 

Any suggestions on a solution?
