‘&’ in a term name

Hi

 

if there is a ‘&’ in a term name in a term store what are the repercussions of this ?

 

i have read that searching for these terms does not work as the character is stored in utf66 format.

 

The ‘&’ is there at the request of the branding police !

 

is there a way of using ‘&’ in a term store in a way that users can search for that term ?
