Access to Excel spreadsheet error

Hi,

A user who is in a Permissions group that as Edit permission levels is getting an error message when trying to open an Excel Spreadsheet 

I've added my user normal log in details to the same group and can access the spreadsheet.

I thought it may have something to do with the length of the file path??

Is there a limit to a file path??

Any ideas why this individual is getting the error message??

    Hi Chris,
    Can the user see the file if they browse the document library in the web browser?
    If they can't see the file, it could be checked out.
    There is a file URL length limit of 400 characters when opening in the browser. It can be less if the file is opened from the desktop app.
