MS Project for the WEB - Some simple questions
Hi,
I have a few questions related to MS Project for the Web. I have a licence and have created a few projects to test the functionality as my team is planning to use MS Project for the WEB as our PM tool moving forward. We have 5 PMs in our team.
- I have created projects and a roadmap and can see them in my Project Home (project.microsoft.home). If my other 4 colleagues get a license and start creating projects will they see only their projects in their specific Project Home or is there a way to combine all projects in one Project Home so our team can see all projects?
- I have also connect Power BI to my projects and used the default portfolio template which automatically pulls in my projects data and shows a variety tabbed views which is really useful. If my other 4 colleagues create projects can I also tie them to the portfolio template so all project data is available for the analytics? Is there a way to do this, could you point me in the right direction?
Sorry for the basic questions but I want to make sure it works for the team before we move forward.
Thanks
Eddie

To answer your questions:
1. Each PM will only be able to see his/her own projects on their Project Home page.
2. Yes, you can pull all of your organization's projects into Power BI reports, including a portfolio report.
Hope this helps.- Eddie_MorrisCopper ContributorThank you Dale.

Eddie_Morris You can grant access to a Project for the Web project with another PM and it will show up on the Project Home (default) page under the "Shared with me " tab. When you share the project you have the ability to define the permissions granted: Read, Write, Delete, Append, etc.
