Migration Path? Project for the Web to D365 Project Ops
I seek advice and experience from individuals who have helped move their organization from using Microsoft Project for the Web to Dynamics 365 Project Operations. Were you able to migrate in-flight projects? At a high level, how did you go about doing it? What technology did you use to do it?
Thanks
Matt

In addition to the excellent answer by Elena, keep in mind that there is no built-in tool that allow you to migrate projects from Project for the Web to Project Operations. Whenever Microsoft does not offer built-in tools such as this, this gives partner organizations the opportunity to develop apps that "fill the gap" so to speak. I would recommend you at least explore the app developed by FluentPro for this purpose. Hope this helps. - ElenaHumeniukCopper Contributor
Hi, MattSchuessler
FluentPro Project Migrator can help you automate Project for the Web migration to Dynamics 365 Project Operations. Project Migrator transfers project data quickly, effortlessly, and with no data loss.
- Loick_BlaisseCopper ContributorSo are we paying licenses for getting this kind of issues ? Your answer is more that disappointing, I've already spent many hours trying to solve this.
Hope it's going to change fastly.- John-projectSilver ContributorLoick_Blaisse,
Bear in mind that neither I, nor others who normally respond to questions on this forum, work for or have any affiliation with Microsoft. We simply lend our expertise and knowledge to help other users.
Progress lines are not the only way to graphically show progress. If you can be more specific about your needs, we can recommend other approaches as a workaround.
John- Loick_BlaisseCopper ContributorSorry for this, thank you for your help.
I want to show in a very simple way which task is critical, compare to the day we are. i don't need to be very accurate (for example no % numbers) but i want it to be intuitive.
