Store your signatures in the cloud

Microsoft

Hello everyone,

We're excited to share with you a highly requested feature we've been working on. Your Outlook signatures will soon be stored in your mailbox in the cloud. Jon LeCroy, a Program Manager on the Outlook team shows you how this new feature works and a couple of scenarios for Office Insiders to try in our latest blog post.

When are we actually going to see this feature ?  it has been talked about for over half a year, but no sign of it yet.

When will this happen ? 2021 or 2022 ?
I would like to know when you all actually plan on implementing this as well. This is a particular feature that had been asked for for years. How much longer till we see it happen?

@Evan_Bolin

When is this going to be implemented? This is now 2 years in the making.

Thanks!

Hello @Evan_Bolin,

Can you please provide a "how to" article on how the users can set this feature?

Thanks!

The how-to is in the article that was linked to by the OP. However, they have not actually implemented signatures stored in the cloud yet. They state in the article that it would arrive 4th quarter 2020. However, it is now 2nd or 3rd quarter 2022 and it has not been implemented. However, they have implemented storing the rest of your settings in the cloud.

@Sean Hasling So what is the status for storing signatures in the cloud? Has this finally been implemented? It is real close to 2023 now.

@Evan_Bolin Any ETA?

Don't ask me, I am not Microsoft. They have done everything BUT store the signatures in the cloud. You can now store your almost complete configuration there, just not your signature. You can't even apply your cloud signature (and have it visible when sending) to your Outlook app.
