sent folder and sent emails

Thank you in advance for any help.

I am using several folders in my inbox to archive sent and received emails related to specific jobs

but when I am trying to find all my sent emails for a specific period, I can not simply got to sent folder and look them up.

it appears that whatever  email I send out using "save sent item to" function under the "Options" tab does not get saved under sent folder.

how do I look up all my sent emails in one location?

      Thank you Victor

I am not trying and planning to move any email anywhere

I just like to see them in one location to review all sent emails in a specific time frame or specific day.

I have over 50 folders. most my sent emails if not all get saved under specific folder using "Options" tab and then "Save Sent Items To" function.

so when I do that, the email does not show up under default sent folder. If I try to see me sent emails from yesterday, I have to check every single folders!

      does this make sense?

there has to be a simple way for this. I just never bothered before and it is not getting little issue for me and I have to waste a lot of time doing it the other way.

      Thank you

If you have only one email account in Outlook, try to tag sent emails using categories but keep all them in a single Sent items folder,

  • You can simply run a mailbox-wide search (as in change the search scope to "current mailbox") and use the "from:you@domain.com" keyword to only retrieve messages sent by you.
