"Retrieval using the IMAP4 protocol failed for the following message:__" messages while migrating

Trying to migrate mail from outlook to another server. While fetching messages from IMAP outlook server got messages with subject "Retrieval using the IMAP4 protocol failed for the following message:__". Is it some sort of error? What is the reason of it?

Note : saw discussion of 2017 but the answer was not given there.

Hi @fayzullinmr ,

can you be more specific:

1. When you say Outlook, are you referring to @outlook.com , @hotmail.com @live.com  accounts or you have Microsoft 365 mailbox you want to migrate?

If your settings are correct, the error you are getting might be that your IMAP is disabled.
