Outlook send and receive

Question

I have Outlook 365 with multiple email accounts. I need to stop the synchronizing (send and receive) of one of them but want to keep all the data for future use. I have looked at settings and elsewhere I can think of and it seems the only way to stop synchronizing is to delete the account which I would assume would also delete the data.
