Mail & Calendar Apps Will Be Replaced with New Outlook for Windows December 2024

In the calendar app, the tasks manager converts to the To-Do App. It is very different than the Tasks Manager, so I encourage you to get familiar with it.

The task manager will be replaced with the To Do Applications. The functionality between the apps is significantly different.

Eve_Simple - As to Tasks, aren't all Tasks in the old business Outlook being migrated to ToDo? I'm running the latest version of "Old" Business Outlook, and it in Outlook OPTIONS under TASKS it has a check box that says, "Open tasks in the To Do App." I think that should help with the transition.

As a long time user of Tasks, I have to say that I love ToDo. Much more useful, runs on ipads, cell phones and desktops. Allows me to assign tasks to other team members or get them assigned to me. It's actually a great app! But I agree with one thing, I am not recommending my clients to migrate to new Outlook at this point, and will not until it has more fully baked feature sets.
