Calendar Sharing

Hi Community,

 

I have a desperate issue to resolve for the company I work in. We have a about 5 staffs working together each using a company email hosted by a 3rd party provider. We all use Outlook 2019/2021. My question is, is there a way to use Outlook and look at each others' calendar so as to know each other's availability? Like perhaps sharing calendar or something?

 

I desperate need help here as my Boss has charged me with solving this problem.

 

I really appreciate anyone with experience in this helping out.

Hi @keithk72,

it is possible to share calendars in Outlook 2019/2021:

  1. Navigate to Calendar and click on Share Calendar.
  2. Choose the calendar you want to share.
  3. Click on Add, select the individuals you want to share with, and click Add.
  4. Confirm with OK, and you'll see the added individuals with default permission levels.
  5. Customize by selecting a name, setting the access level, and then click OK.

You also have the option to create additional calendar folders for specific projects and share them accordingly. You can even grant permission for others to modify events and appointments in the calendar.
