Share a calendar with external users
We are subscribers to office 365 we are sharing office space and would like to share our calender with the other company. How can they access the calender and have edit rights to the calender. They are not part of our office 365.

Can the external user book the meeting room?
- Hi,
No unfortunately not. There is a uservoice open for it.
https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/17507872-allow-external-users-to-edit-the-calendar-of-peopl
External Users can only view the calendar you share with them.
I would say there isn't an easy solution here. I would say that the best option is to consider a room bookings system application such as
https://www.bookinglive.com/room-booking-system
Hope that clarifies
Best, ChrisIf this is an "allow external users to book our meetings" type of scenario, you don't need to grant them any permissions on the calendar. In fact, even for internal people, you should not do that. The proper way to book a meeting room is to send a meeting request, not book it directly in the room calendar.
Anyway, what you should do instead is to configure the ProcessExternalMeetingMessages setting, as detailed for example here: https://practical365.com/exchange-server/enabling-external-users-to-book-exchange-room-calendars/
