Office 365 Word cannot resize or rotate inserted shapes or items
Started yesterday, I could no longer resize or rotate an inserted shape or item. I tried uninstalling and re-installing. I even tried using SetupProd_OffScrub to uninstall Office365 to see if it co...

On the other hand: this bug also occurs in the *.docx files, with compatibility mode turned on:
Just save a *.doc as a *.docx file. While saving, make sure that in the File Save dialog the option located at the bottom of this window, named "Maintain compatibility with ...." is turned on. Then report that this bug still occurs in the *.docx files.
(Our last chance is to check, if they support the compatibility mode in the *.docx files)
I did that, showed a doc file and saved it as docx.
But then the support employe asked me to create a new docx file an because that is working he could not help me 😞
I mentionned that it worked for years and now it's broken because of a MS update but no luck.
Apparently no support for the compatibility mode in Word.
Maybe Doug Robbins who replied previously in this issue can double check. He's an MVP and maybe he has other channels at Microsoft.

So I will leave a reply in this thread to Doug Robbins post, pointing to description of our "last ditch" effort. That's all what we can do.
(Actually I am using the workaround with copying/pasting the modified graphics to a temporary *.docx file)
