Microsoft 365 as a master brand?

Pure speculation on my part but looking at the Ignite sessions it appears as if Microsoft 365 is acquiring a broader brand role. The prominence in the General Sessions can't be a mistake. Wonder what this means for Office 365? Guess we'll find out this time, next week!

    Did anyone draw any conclusions on this with Ignite finished? We saw Microsoft 365 Education and Microsoft 365 F1 launch for starters.

     

    Will we be talking more about Microsoft 365 rather just Office 365? I guess a question would be, is Office 365 incomplete (something I kinda brought up here), without the extras and the platform Microsoft 365 provides? Or is all just good marketing? Food for thought!

    That's a good observation, John.  Microsoft 365 seems like the overarching brand now.  It's certainly more catchy than Secure Productive Enterprise, a precursor to Microsoft 365.  Sessions like these, leave no uncertainty that Microsoft 365 is at the forefront:
