Customer needs to access email while visiting Cuba
Hello there, I wish to inquire if there will be a problem when travelling to Cuba - in accessing email from the O365 service. Is this true? I have a customer who is getting mixed messages, told by so...

I'm not aware of these issues, but have not been in Cuba since 2009....the problems I had when I was there is just poor Internet connectivity....something that has been improved, but still an issue

Yeah, all I hear about Cuba is that the public internet accessed via wi-fi is slow and expensive. Perhaps a local phone with a data plan might be a solution given that the mobile Office 365 apps are optimized for phone networks where drops are not uncommon. They will probably perform better than Outlook on a public wi-fi because Outlook is a bit of a network pig when it comes to demanding bandwidth. If the users insist on using a PC or Mac, get them to use the browser apps.
