M365 network connectivity test tool fails with SignalR proxy error
When trying to run the M365 Network connectivity test tool from my corporate machine the detailed test exe that's downloaded generates an error and then hangs at 'initialising tests'. It all works fine from my personal laptop on the same network.
The error says SignalR proxy configuration is different than origin. I get the same message regardless of whether or not I'm connected to our corporate DirectAccess VPN. I have already confirmed port 443 access to connectivity.service.signalr.net is open, which it is as per the faq.
Any ideas?
- Could you try this: if you have a proxy, make sure you allow the clients to connect to this URL: connectivity.service.signalr.net.

We are using ForcePoint proxy client on our endpoints.
- Pavlin_StoyanovCopper ContributorResolved ticket with Georgiana, thanks.
Did you try in In-Private mode?
- Jamie_WheeldonCopper ContributorYes tried that in Edge and Chrome. No difference. It's the downloaded Exe that fails rather then the browser tests though so not sure in-private makes any difference to that?
- Pavlin_StoyanovCopper ContributorHi, did you find a solution to this problem?
