Object Manipulator breaks interaction...
Greetings, New to MRTK. I have been working on a project that includes a MRTK VR rig. When I play the project in Unity, a start UI pops up. I press the start button and then I am able to enter the next scene. This works if I do not add an object with a Object Manipulator component. Once I have one present, even if deactivated, I am not able to interact with the start button. Anyone ever experience this? What could be the cause. Thank you.

Fusion Generator Tool: A real-time tool that lets users create their own Pokémon fusions. Stat Calculator: A tool for calculating stats of custom Pokémon fusions. These features, especially the interactive tools, engage users by allowing them to create and experiment with their own content, which I believe could benefit from some mixed-reality enhancements. I’m curious if anyone here has explored adding AR or MR elements to similar fan-driven websites? Any suggestions on implementing mixed reality to improve engagement would be greatly appreciated! bug in MS Office 356 (Excel)
"Hello Microsoft, I have noticed a bug in MS Office 356, specifically in Excel. If we don't have a license for Office 365, the application prompts us to activate the product via the activation wizard. However, if we open the wizard and then open any saved Excel file, after closing the first file using the taskbar (not the task manager), the second file works normally. I can edit, save, and use all the toolbar features without any issue. I believe this is a bug in the product, as I haven't observed the same behavior in Word , outlook and PowerPoint." Real world object detection
Hi All, I hope this is the right place to ask this question. If it is not, please point me to the right location. Thanks. I have been asked to develop a HoloLens 2 healthcare application that should work as guide for patients on how to handle different devices for blood sugar measurements, insulin pumps etc. But I need some help/information for how to do this the best way. The HoloLens 2 application must be able to recognize the device (blood sugar measurement device) on the table, so that it can start telling what to do with it. Are you able to help me with this? Hololens 2 nightmare!
The device as far as I know is bricked due to a faulty update released by Microsoft. For some reason the device is not charging above 1 LED light (Even when charging it overnight). Microsoft customer care suggested to re flash the device which is a simple straight forward process but the device is nowhere the minimum 40% charge because of some restriction. Getting into EDL mode by pressing the Brightness UP + Brightness DOWN + Power button until the LED's disappear only enables me to update the driver using the device manager window. Thinking this as a bypass to the 40% charge requirement, tried connecting to the ARC software with the latest .ffu file and the recovery .ffu file (in case the process got stuck). ARC opens a page which says unable to connect to the server (which I understand) but will not let me choose the manual package file I have downloaded. The option is greyed out. Tried everything but no luck. Tried to solve this using the Windows Recovery tool which was used to recover LUMIA phones back in the day, the device does not want to connect to anything. If anyone has any ideas on solving this, I am all ears! P.S. All of this looks suspicious

Hello, I've got some issues with my HoloLens2: I wanted to recover it, but it doesn't turn on properly, just the 4 out of 5 Leds on and nothing displayed. Then I tried the forced recover via PC with WDRT and Advanced recovery companion, but still my hololens2 cannot be detected. So how can I finally recover my HoloLens? And i also tried to power on with the volume up button pressed but it didn't work. Thank you in advance
UWP app network connection blocked by hololens 2 windows firewall
Hello, my UWP app, which was installed on the HoloLens, has encountered an issue and is now unable to connect to the internet.I checked the hololens diagnostic log and it stated the following event: "Windows Defender Firewall was unable to notify the user that it blocked an application from accepting incoming connections on the network. Reason: The application is non interactive Application Path:.....". My development setup includes Unity 2018.4.11f1 and Visual Studio 2019. The capability setting in AppxManifest file is: <Capabilities> <Capability Name="internetClient" /> <Capability Name="internetClientServer" /> <Capability Name="privateNetworkClientServer"/> <uap:Capability Name="documentsLibrary" /> <uap2:Capability Name="spatialPerception" /> <DeviceCapability Name="webcam" /> <DeviceCapability Name="microphone" /> </Capabilities> The application tested all OK in unity editor but when loaded to hololens it failed to establish a network connection. Windows mixed reality controllers lag and disappear
Hi, I bought a hp reverb g2 headset and controllers about two years ago. They were working fine at that time. I tried them again recently and now the controllers lag and frequently disappear. I have tried buying a usb bluetooth adapter. I have removed and re-paired the controllers. I have reinstalled the mixed reality driver. I am following this document andthis tutorialto test AR on a HoloLens 2, and I go to the part where I have a Unity game with all the proper setup (ie. build settings are correct, I used Unity AR feature tool, etc.) and with 2 squares. I built the project and opened the solution, and then I set the configuration to "Release," platform to "ARM64," and set it to "Device" because I have the HoloLens directly connected to my laptop. I selected the Unity app solution and right-clicked it to "Set as Startup Project." Then, I pressed the green button next to "Device" to build and deploy it. The first time, I got prompted to enter a pin after a bit, which I did, and once the deployment was done, the app showed in the "All Apps" section, but once I clicked on it, I got a window that had a white background with a box with an X in the middle of the screen. On top, there is a blue circle with a white loading circle that was loading for forever. I tried rebuilding it multiple times, recreating the Unity project in a new project, and double-checking my Unity build settings, but those were correct. How can I fix this issue? I'm using Unity version 2022.3.20f1. Thank you, Avinash Devineni Edit: Now it started doing the environment scanning visual, but still shows a white box, although there is no blue loading circle anymore. Hi everyone, Recently, during the development process with the HoloLens 2, I encountered an issue where the device failed to boot properly. I attempted to restart the device several times, but the problem persisted. While charging, One light fading in and out as mentioning in(https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/hololens/hololens2-setup#lights-that-indicate-the-battery-level), followed by the startup sound playing repeatedly, and the device not functioning normally. According to the documents, light to indicate problem, I judge the device battery might be very low, but after trying to plug in, and to charge the device, it seems not working.
