- Hi! We are in the design phase of developing a new CRM system and really want to integrate it with Viva Sales. When will API / SDK etc be available enabling us to build a custom connector ?

Thanks Joakim. As of today, Viva Sales is supported for D365 and Salesforce CRM system. We will be supporting for additional CRM system in future but no firm timelines. We will be updating Viva Sales roadmap when we are ready for other CRM systems.- Hi Gaurav, Thanks for your reply. Understood. Even though you are not ready to allow more CRM integrations at this point it would be really great if some conceptual designs can be released soon, so us potential integrators can prepare our system infrastructure for the future connectors. I have heard the Viva Sales custom connector interface will be mainly utilizing Dataverse API, correct?
- Hi all, thanks for hosting! In working with a client that's transitioning to Dynamics 365 CRM in Q1 2023 -- we don't want to overwhelm them with too much all at once, but we're definitely selling them on the idea what Dynamics is better than their current solution. What are a few quality of life improvements that our users can expect Viva Sales to solve for that aren't solved for by D365 CRM?

Hi Jeff, Viva Sales is a CRM companion app that is designed to work with Dynamics and Salesforce CRMs today. It is not meant to replace Dynamics CRM but rather work with it to improve the work experience of sellers. Dynamics + Viva Sales is designed for sellers who mostly work from Microsoft Teams and Outlook apps. It improves seller work experience by:
• Surfacing relevant business context from CRM into Teams and Outlook that sellers can easily share with their colleagues in Teams and Outlook.
• Automatically sync customer engagement information to CRM to reduce the burden of manual CRM entries
• AI insights to augment seller decision making

- Looking forward to this! Viva Sales has become the quickest adopted product by our Team. The meeting recap features are outstanding. I am hoping there will be a Viva Sales Standalone app released for Teams which enables users to manage and browse their Viva Sales histories. Also, I am looking for a way to automatically include Viva Sales on all our meetings without the end-user having to remember to add it to each meeting.

Hi David, Thanks for your enthusiasm about Viva Sales. Let me provide a bit of color regarding your questions:
1. Will there be a standalone Viva Sales app released for Teams which enables users to manage and browse their Viva Sales histories? We are in the process of actively designing a Teams app that will help to aggregate some of the data that Viva Sales brings to sellers in their flow of work. Thanks for your feedback around the scenario to browse and view Viva Sales Teams Meeting summaries, we will ensure this is part of our backlog.
2. Viva Sales is being added automatically to all of your meetings with customers (assuming scheduled from Outlook as described here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-viva-sales-in-teams-04286b82-bdf8-4e37-94ce-be1943b2d6ea#bkmk_createteamsmeeting ). For other meetings, currently you can just add the app manually prior/during the meeting.
Is your ask for an admin or personal setting perhaps that adds Viva Sales by default to meetings with External customers matching to your CRM? Would love to have more details about how the 'automation' would work for your usecase. Thanks!
