Video adjusting for low light

I work in a very bright room and as a result my face is in shadow during video calls. On Zoom, there's a facility to adjust for low light which darkens the background and makes my face visible. I've found that you can make a similar adjustment on Teams by changing the settings in Skype, but why can't we have this option directly in Teams?
