Teams team member are labeled as guest
Hi,
I'm working in a school in The Netherlands.
To teach the students remotely during the Corona outbreak we use Teams.
The following problem occurs in teams meeting
- Students from within the organisation are labeled as guest in a meeting.
- The systemadministrator told us that allow guest access is turned off.
- During a Forms quiz (connected with a meeting), students are not only labeled as guest, but also anonymous.
Questions
- How is it possible that there are students labeled as guest and can we prevent this (with some actions)?
- Is there a way to convert the guest to the right student who took the quiz?
- Is there a way to convert anonymous to the right student who took the quiz?

I'm guessing that they are joining via a web browser and selecting to joining with web browser instead of
desktop client. They should click "Launch it now" and join with the desktop client.
Or if they still want to use the web app sign in when joining the meeting.
This is not the kind of guest that you have disabled in admin center, that is for Guests access in a team in Teams. Not for guests (users not signed in) in meetings.
And for the questions about the quiz, if the students sign in you will see their names.

After testing this is the problem in Teams. In Forms if the settings are right (only people within my organisation and name checkbox is checked) This isn't possible for Forms.
