Teams meetings on web browser vs desktop

I'm now on home-working due to COVID-19 (as are many people) and my laptop doesn't have enough storage space to run the teams desktop app so I'm only using the web browser version. Is there any way of showing 4 participants in the split screen when teams meeting in the web browser? I can only see 1 person at a time and it's really not great.

  • No, there is not. This is a current limitation in Teams that is planned to be improved by Microsoft
  • Hi,

Normally you can see more than one active speaker in the web application, up to 4 video streams. But currently only one video is showing when using the web application of Teams. I guess that is due to the high usage impact on Teams services currently since many people are using the service.
