Teams Live Event Threshold

How does the Live Event (50 concurrent Now/15 Post July) event limit work?

Does a user that tries to schedule a time slot in which the threshold number of events get warned about the overlap?

If we have 15 live events at the same time and 14 events are live and 1 event that is scheduled to happen in a later time is in pre-live, what happens if the 15th event tries to go?

Basically right now we have restricted Live Event creation in a global organisation due to the concern that we will breach the threshold and impact the service.

We have a LiveEvent Calendar with a user created as producer and a forms based process that we use to raise the schedule. A limited number of admins are then creating the Live Events in the LiveEvent calendar and the team are making sure that no more than the 50 current limit (soon to be 15) are exceeded. We are a global organisation with users in many different timezones throughout the world.

We would like to know if message sent back to advise as mentioned above or the meeting would simply fail right now.

Additionally we would like to know whether any API/Connector creations are in the pipeline so that we could use MS Booking (we have not yet enabled on our tenant) to directly raise the Live Events. We are thinking the best process maybe to create the 15/50 Live Event slots as resources and restrict the risk of threshold using this method
