Teams error codes 801C0024 and CAA200B

Copper Contributor

Hi, my problem is that I cannot use Teams. Microsoft support team suggested posting a question on this forum. The error codes I get are 808C0024 and CAA2000B.  I appreciate any help you can provide.

I have Office 365 (family). When I try to login to Teams with the email address linked to my Microsoft account, I get two options: (i) log in with your business or school account, and (ii) personal account.

When I choose 'personal account' Microsoft send a two-digit authentication number to my mobile. After confirming the correct number, I get the message "Foutcode: invalid_resource|AADSTS500014: The service principal for resource 'https://api.spaces.skype.com' is disabled. This indicate that a subscription within the tenant has lapsed, or that the administrator for this tenant has disabled the application, preventing tokens from being issued for it."

When I try again using the business account option, I have to provide a password. After this step, I also receive an error message.

I also tried another email address, but that didn't work either.

See the attached logs.

Can please someone help me?

Could also be some mess with your email address being tied to multiple accounts Messi v things up! You mentioned you’ve talked to Microsoft Support, did you try posting this on https://answers.Microsoft.com ?

@adam deltinger Dear Adam, Thanks for your reply!

How can I find out that I have multiple accounts?

On my phone, Teams was installed with an email address from my former employer. After reinstalling Teams on my mobile, it worked. However, not on my PC :(

@adam deltinger Adam, problem solved!

How? I had TEAMS installed on my mobile. That gave a conflict when I thereafter installed TEAMS on my PC. Life is not complicated; only answers are. Thanks for your time and effort!
