Teams crashes overnight SBOX_FATAL_MEMORY_EXCEEDED

Copper Contributor

I use Teams in a Chrome tab exclusively

Every morning that I come to work, the tab has crashed with the SBOX_FATAL_MEMORY_EXCEEDED message, Chrome is left using 8GB + of memory

IMO it's a memory leak in the application code.

Are there certain steps that I could do to give more information? Logs? A Chrome performance trace?

Thanks,

Philippe

About the logs:

"To collect logs for Browser: Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 1 The files will be available in %userprofile%\Downloads"

more info https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/log-files

I leave multiple-tenant Teams browser tabs overnight and I have never experienced that, but I am using Edge Chromium...
Thanks for the tip, unfortunately logs from yesterday / last night are gone

I would say: give a try to Edge Chromium at least to check if it happens with it too.
I will not, Chrome is used by 65% of the world internet population, Edge Chromium is 99% chrome as you know probably

After 2 days not using my work laptop :
