Teams app on Ubuntu 22 won't let me login

When I open the Teams app in Linux (the app, not the web page) it immediately gives the error below. The Azure tenant it refers too is an old tenant on an old Azure account that I don't use any more. I've also signed into Azure using my personal account, but I still get this error. It doesn't give me the option to sign in, just this error:

The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

What do I need to do get Teams to work on Linux (Ubuntu 22)?

@Dean_Schulze Microsoft stopped supporting Teams client for Linux in December 2022 in favour of using the web browser client, I would suggest you start there.
