Surface Laptop/Pro shuts down during Teams Meeting
Has anyone experienced the issue where their Surface computer suddenly shuts down during a long Teams meeting (with multiple participants)?

Had this happen to a few Surface devices in our org too. 9 times out of 10 its a thermal throttling issue. Long meetings with video on + screen sharing push the CPU hard and Surfaces dont always handle the heat well.
Try this: go to Device Manager > System Devices > Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework, and make sure all the drivers are up to date. Also check your power settings, set it to "Best Performance" when plugged in during meetings. If it keeps happening, open Event Viewer and look for Kernel-Power errors around the time of the shutdowns. That will tell you if its thermal or something else.
