Slack Wants to Integrate with Teams – But How?

The Slack CEO says that the company is working on a calling integration with Teams. Slack hasn't released any technical information, which leads to a certain amount of speculation as to how such an integration might happen. Slack's previous attempts to integrate with Office 365 applications haven't been too successful, but perhaps a federated hook-up like the one between Skype consumer and Teams might work.

@Tony Redmond hi, tony! I hope you are staying safe! By any chance, have you tried the slack integration for teams?

At my company, we've been trying to connect the two of them with the one that Slack offers, but we can't manage to go past the addition to the workspace... Somehow we can't link them. I have looked for support from both Slack and Teams, but nobody knows why.

In any case, you won't get any help from the Teams people because they had nothing to do with the integration. You'll have to seek help from Slack.
