Sharing an excel sheet public link

Copper Contributor

I would like to make an excel sheet public and make it available to anyone with the link. Is there a way to do this in either Excel or Excel online?

Hi @shunde3

Yes, see here

The feature is coming to be able to do it in Teams directly, but for now, you'll have to do it via the underlying SharePoint site. The video in the link will help

Hope that answers your question!

Keep in mind if it's stored on a Team site, by default Anyone links are not allowed on the attached SharePoint site. If you are an admin, or if not get one to, go and allow external sharing on the specific Team site via the SharePoint admin center. This will allow the use of anyone links.

It is possible, just takes admin interference to enable it.
Well I guess it's mentions it in that article you linked Hoard :P.
Exactly. That’s a BR post right there :white_heavy_check_mark:8)
That is is, but hopefully shunde3 will mark it :).
thank you for sharing. I do not have the Anyone links available but I will talk to the admin to see if they can change that permission and make it available.
