Traditional PBX systems and even Skype for Business On-Premises, with additional software, offer a robust Call Pickup feature. It would be beneficial to have this functionality integrated into Microsoft Teams as well. I am aware that you can create your own call group and then forward calls, but the ideal scenario is being able to pick up a colleague's ringing phone without requiring them to configure it for you. This feature is particularly valuable in open-plan offices and is frequently inquired about by customers regarding its compatibility with Microsoft Teams.
Does anyone know of a third-party tool for Microsoft Teams that provides this feature or if it's possibly on Microsoft Teams roadmap?
