Problems creating Team connecting to existing group

Hi

I have a problem with one Office 365 group, when trying to create a Team connected to it.
When in Teams the group does not show up as an alternativ, even though I am owner to the group.
From powershell.
When I try to create the team I get an error stating that the Team already exists. (New-Team .Groupid .....)
When I try to get information  (Get-Team -groupid .....) I get an error stating that the Team does not exist.. !!??
I dont want to try deleting the Team since then the group will also be deleted.
Any help would be appreciated.
