Problem adding an external guest user with existing account and license to a team

Hi,

I have followed the guideline to add the external user as guest in Azure AD.

I sent the invitation to the email address that the external guest user used to create his Microsoft account with.

So the Emailaddress is valid. The guest user is now prompted to enter an emailaddress to create a new Microsoft account to enable him to join teams?

 

This seems to be pointless because the other user already has an account and licenced office.

Is there something to note?

    Seemed to work, apparently the user must enter his credentials for the existing account again. It looks like one must create a new account. This is not really clear for everyone. It would be better to clearly state somewhere in the process that one can enter the credentials for the existing MS account.
