Planner Error: We couldn't complete your request because your item or storage limit has been exceed

All of a sudden I started received the following error message when trying to create new tasks in a plan that I've created in a Team. The error reads: We couldn't complete your request because your item or storage limit has been exceeded. Technical details

I have confirmed I have not run out of OneDrive storage which is something I've seen an a cited cause. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks for the comment. Apparently, I have but I'm not entirely sure how I can easily find out which limit has been hit.
