Layout of Chats
Hi,
I'm trying to figure it out if there are some settings in Teams to change the layout for Chat and Contacts.
I'm having two users with the same version of Teams, but both can see it a bit differently.
The first one has a drop-down menu for switching between Chats and Contacts. This is the standard layout for every other user as well.
But there is one user, who is having the same policies as everyone else, the Teams version is the same together with Windows version, but have a slightly different layout of Chats, where there is no drop-down menu available as you can see bellow.
Do you have an idea what might be causing this?
I haven't found anything in the settings regarding this.

Hmm, that is odd. I've not seen that second layout before myself and can see no obvious way to make Teams look that way.
Are they both on 64bit client?
PeterRising Yes, both are 64-bit versions. Indeed it is quite strange 🙂
Most odd indeed. Maybe open a support ticket with Microsoft to see if they can shed any light on this.
