Hyperlink in PDF Not working in Teams

I have a PDF document stored in Teams with link to other documents in subfolders in the same Teams general channel. When I click on them nothing happens. How can I have usable links within a PDF that can point to and open other files saved on the same Teams channel?

Are you pressing the Control key at the same time you click on the link? (Command key if on a Mac).

So holding the Command key worked on the Mac. My question is why do we have to do this? I do not have to do it on the iPad. @PeterRising
