How to Cancel Scheduled Firmware Updates for Teams Phones

Is there a way, in the Teams Admin Center, to cancel scheduled firmware updates to phones that were manually scheduled?

  • Hi Peter_Joseph,

Yes, there is a way to cancel scheduled firmware updates in the Teams Admin Center.
You can temporarily pause auto-updates, which will cancel any updates that are already scheduled.

    Here are the steps:

    1. Sign in to the Teams admin center.
    2. Go to the Teams Devices --> Phones -->Actions.
    3. Select the option to temporarily pause auto-updates.

This will stop all firmware auto-updates for the tenant for 15 days. If an update is already scheduled, it will be cancelled. You may choose to resume auto-updates before 15 days elapse.

That's good to know, Leon. I was not aware that pausing auto-updates would cancel manually scheduled updates. Thanks!
