@SarahP2405 Hello Sarah, you're using a Mac?

I believe you have to delete the Teams cache manually. Go to the suitable location and delete the content.

  • AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams (Windows)
  • Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams (Mac)

If that doesn't solve the problem you should uninstall/reinstall the Teams client.

Good luck!

@ChristianBergstromthanks for your reply.

deleting the folder appears only to work only one time, and it recurs again after restarting the app (Mac).

Also uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't help.

Any more advices are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Maybe you need to contact the official Microsoft support. I've heard that it sometimes is necessary to create a new account.

Same here! Its just crazy and Teams almost unusable on Mac
I am in Mac OS Mojave

It happens with every Screen Lock or Sleep. Getting following error:

---

We're sorry—we've run into an issue.
Restart
If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in.

I too am having this issue.  The error code 2:211 on my Mac.  I uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted the PC.  It would be good to know if a good fix has occurred on this.  My alternative is to use from my iPhone, but I cannot adequately read documents that way.

I'm amazed that over 3 years on and this error is still happening. Has anyone found a solution to this?

thanks
