Chat with People Outside Team in Channel Meeting
I am planning to create recurring channel meetings inside my Team channels so that we can have a record of our weekly meetings and chats stored within our private Team. Occasionally, we will add people that are outside of the Team (but within our org) to a meeting as they may have something to present to our Team. We are able to add people outside the Team to the meeting just fine and they are able to use the usual video conferencing tools such as showing video or sharing screen. However, they cannot view any messages in the chat and cannot post or view anything from the chat. This will cause issues as we may bring in an SME to present something and people will use the chat to post questions.
I suspect the reason why this behaves this way is due to the permissions of the Team and it is preventing people outside of the Team from reading and posting things. Is there some way to make the chat inherit the permissions from the meeting rather than the Team? Or is this a limitation of channel meetings?

Hi sydtsai Trying to have chats with guests is a common theme in this forum. Here are a few of the past posts that address some solutions (you might want to do your own search on "guest chat" to see all of the other past posts):
