can't find option for full screen after update
Jim_B175 mine is definitely full-screen without any window borders. I have attached a screenshot. This is the most updated version of Teams presently (I cannot find a version number in Teams anywhere) with the new experience disabled. Note the resolution is precisely 1920x1080 which is my desktop resolution:
What you are showing is the Teams Meeting screen with the New Meeting Experience Deselected with no other participants in the meeting. You also are not showing any video as well but that is besides the point. You should try adding someone to the meeting by sending them a meeting link and when they have joined the meeting check out what you see. With more than one participant in the meeting, I see the Dark Grey Bar with my User Video showing in the lower Right hand corner inside the Dark Grey Bar. This is not my definition of Full Screen.
I am using Version 1.3.00.24755 (64-bit) which for me was updated on 9-17-20. You can find the version by going to the Title Bar of Teams Window and clicking on the Icon, usually a Circular Icon For your Sign On ID, just to the left of the Minimize Button on the Title Bar. Look for About and then select Version. You will also find the Settings option in this same popup menu. Since you state you have deselected New Meeting Experience you should be able to see the About option on the same popup menu as you used to get to Settings.

I will point out something which I believe I pointed out a long time ago. One person on this thread was complaining about needing Full Screen because of the small print otherwise. It may have been you but don't remember. That person was stating they used Laptops at his organization which I agree would be difficult to read especially when you don't have Full Screen turned on. However, I pointed out that many organizations and just plain home users like me don't all use Laptops. In organizations some people may use Laptops and other like myself at home use Desktop Tower Systems with a comparatively Larger Monitor in relation to a Laptop Screen. On the larger Monitors, the lack of a Full Screen may not be as bad as it would be with a Laptop Screen. But it would still be better to have Full Screen in either situation because some screens can still be pretty small print.

Sounds right. "Full-screen" has nothing to do with overlays.
In full-screen mode during screen sharing (the most important use for full-screen mode), there cannot be:
- Any title bar at the top
- Any taskbar at the bottom
- Any blank space at the top or sides of the screen (when the sharer's screen ratio matches yours)
The maximum size of a shared screen in the clunky new "focus" mode is woefully insufficient. The old Teams view allowed the user to select the breadcrumb menu and hit "full-screen" mode during screen sharing, which indeed takes over your entire screen with the entire screen of the person who is sharing. This is critically important when working on documents in realtime where fonts can be small and viewers can't afford any blurring or downscaling artifacts.

I believe you are seeing exactly what I said you would see. The Dark Grey Bar I am descibing at the bottom of the screen is exactly what I was describing for the Deselected New Meeting Experience So-Called Full Screen Mode. If am interpreting what you describe correctly, what you are calling the small Bar at the Bottom is the Dark Grey Bar I refer to. The Bar should be the same height as the Active Person's Camera, though in my meetings I see also my own camera alongside the other particpants when in Shared Screen Mode. It's still a little difficult to interpret what you are saying you see but it sounds like what I see and if there is a bar at the bottom then you are not getting what most people interpret as Full Screen. I haven't had much opportunity to do multiple participant meetings yet but the ones i have done when doing a Shared Screen you do see a Full Screen representation in the Mode I believe you are in but there may be an Overlay of the participants camera or maybe your own. I am trying to describe what I remember I saw from memory so may be a little off. But if you get in Full Screen Mode a Grey Bar at the Bottom then that is not what most people would call a Full Screen. I believe most people including myself would consider it Full Screen if you had your Camera showing on the bottom as an Overlay but not if it was embedded in a Grey Bar that extended the full width of the screen. Full Screen most people are familiar with the image from the camera would completely fill the Display Screen with a possible exaception of your Camera Image as an Overlay usually somewhere near the Bottom Corner or possibly Upper Corner.
So If i'm interpreting what your so-called Full Screen correctly as you describe it the I would not call this a Full Screen image. Incidentally, in the Deselected New Meeting Experience, you will see your Control Bars showing as an Overlay on the screen. I don't count that as disqualifying the term Full Screen because that Control Bar will go away if you don't move your cursor but reappear if you do move your mouse causing the cursor to move. So keep you mouse still and the Control Bar will be hidden.

Hi Jim_B175, I have tried your suggestion and had a couple of meetings. One with 4 people and one with 16 people. Both meetings my interface looked the same. I only see the active person's camera in the bottom right and the small bar at the bottom, there isn't any larger bar like you describe. Furthermore I found that if I single click the mouse on the shared screen, then all webcam and toolbars disappear and I see the full-screen view of the person who is sharing their screen without any overlays. I have Microsoft Teams Version 1.3.00.24755 (32-bit).
