Adobe & Microsoft Teams - PDF Editing

Copper Contributor

Hi! As a teacher, I want to add editable boxes to my PDFs so that students can fill-in-the-blanks and submit their assignments. Is that something that is doable through Adobe or Microsoft Teams?

I already know that you can "save as" a Word document, but that typically doesn't render properly at all when you share it will students on an assignment in Teams. I basically have to take my PDFs, create a new document in Word, and retype everything from scratch so that students to submit my assignments.

Help on this would be great! Thanks!

@elateacherfirst thanks for using the Microsoft TC, secondly for assignment there are so many build-in options for Microsoft Teams education version which you could find all the related docs...configuration and usage for teachers, students, and everything from this link... https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/microsoft-teams-5aa4431a-8a3c-4aa5-87a6-b6401abea114?ui=e...

besides, there is another alternative easy/quick way I mostly use by creating for the survey and any other information gathering by using Microsoft Forms, create a form with so many options there like multiple questions, information field, and even creating any extra field you need, you could send it to each student, post in Chat, or put in a Channel as tab or announcement/post in a channel.

I understand Microsoft but pdf forms are available globally and no matter how much you keep trying to enforce it on users it really doesn't meet up to the standards available elsewhere - Microsoft Forms is clunky not attractive looking and doesn't even have Landscape availability.  Users have complained about this and been ignored for years now and still nothing even close.  I've even been able to convert pdf forms to google forms and got better response and able to print out as pdf if needed.  Maybe microsoft needs to stop thinking it's throne is the only and see how they can make forms more attractive and please don't point to Power Apps as most businesses are aware of the massive security faults within Power Apps forms which then prevents developers from creating them on site for them..
