Syntex licencing
Is there a pre-requisite to have AI Builder credits in order to use SharePoint Syntex (once licenced to use Syntex)? There is a suggestion in the Syntex documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/contentunderstanding/set-up-content-understanding) that if you have less than 300 Syntex licences AI Builder credits are required to be purchased - does this only apply to using AI Builder capabilities, or does this apply to using Syntex?
In other words, do I need to purchase AI Builder credits to use Syntex, or can I use Syntex without AI Builder credits?
I have so far posted this question in two other forums and have been directed here to get a definitive answer.

Steve Brown I’ve just read your post. If you require Document Understanding only I cannot see how you need AI Builder which is for Forms Processing. So you will need the Syntex add on but not AI credits. I think because Microsoft is typically targeting higher seat numbers they have been vague on this. I will ask a question of a contact to get further clarification. Kind Regards
