Intune Admin rights
Hello, I want to give some users permission to install software. Is it only possible with LAPS or are there other settings in Intune? And if they use local admin account to install the software can...
Did you also looked at the possibility of deploying/uploading the app in Intune (store apps or create your own custom made win32 app) WIth the company portal installed on devices, users could install those apps manually from that portal.
Even with EPM you will need to allow the hashes/apps in your environment ... You cant just give the users the keys to the kingdom and expect they will do nothing bad with it 🙂
In our company we are working as a msp for a lot of customers and we have created our own baseline with all sorts of custom created apps with an autoupload to their tenent.. So we can upload the app within a minute to the tenant and from there it will be available for the endusers in the cp
