How to turn off "Allow respondants to edit their responses?"

I received a pop up the other day notifying me of this new option. I figured I would try it out but it's not something I want for my form. Now I can't turn it off. I can see the checkbox for this option in the form's settings, but it's grayed out so I can't uncheck it. How can I turn this off?

There are two situations where you will see this option in a disabled state -

1. You have set a "Set time duration".

2. Group form with Excel data sync.
