    You cannot sync folders shared from a user belonging to another organization.

Hi StephenRice , 

 

Currently looking for this functionality in 2020. I manage a client whose workforce is mostly freelance, meaning adding these contractors as "members" in AAD in order to sync select files is not appropriate. The ability to allow these workers to sync files shared with them to the OneDrive mobile app would greatly improve their experience. Currently, viewing and working from a mobile web browser for file viewing/editing/management is a real pain point. 

 

I'm trying to keep this client from reverting back to Dropbox for Business, but without less clunky file sync options to mobile apps, I'm losing the battle. 

 

Any insight about this feature's expectancy would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
