afabozzi-20 I got it set up just fine (thank you for the great instructions!), but unfortunately, the email received by my recipient that was sent from my new POP/alias address still showed as being "from" my primary email address (even though it showed in my Sent items as being sent from my alias address!). Super frustrating!!
Guess I'll try the distribution list workaround next.

Did you send to someone in your organization? If so it always defaults to your primary. Send to a gmail or yahoo and it should show correctly outside of your organization.
