Multifunction Device SMTP

We have been trying to set up a MFP and a couple of servers using option 1 from the O365 documents online. 

We have several devices that send email to external sources and we are not able to get the outbound email to work either to internal or external addresses. Any Ideas ?

    you may not have the right firewall rules in-place to access smtp.office365.com. I've found that the DNS name changes so often that you need to add the entire range for port 25 and 587. ranges can be found here and vary by region: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/urls-and-ip-address-ranges?view=o365-worldwide
  • If you use client submission, the device must be able to authenticate with username and password, and the corresponding user must have a valid O365 license assigned. TLS is also a requirement.
