Microsoft Purview - Match label sensitivity in emails and files

Copper Contributor

Hi everyone,

Internal documents/emails cannot be shared with external domains. When you try to send it,

We've started using unified labeling, and we currently have an issue with the fact that label matching is not working. I.e.

If I open and create a "Public" email, I can add attachment with "Internal" label and send it just fine to an external domain.

Anyone know how this is enabled via the unified labeling Purview solution?

You should use an Exchange online DLP with "content contains" and select the sensitivity label.

@ChristianJBergstrom Ah yes, forgot that you can do this, and got tunnel-visioned on Label Policies. Thank you, Christian :)
