Calender reminders will not clear
It just clears and regenerates reminders. It should not cause any issues. You can refer to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/command-line-switches-for-microsoft-office-products-079164cd-4ef5-4178-b235-441737deb3a6#Category=Outlook for more information.
It should fix the issue, however, if the issue persists, try solution 3 given at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/calendars/cannot-dismiss-outlook-calendar-reminders.
If solution 3 doesn't help, you can go for solution 2 if you are comfortable with it.
If it doesn't work, close Outlook, go to Run, copy and paste outlook.exe /cleanreminders, and run it.
Outlook will open, see if the issue persists.
If it does, do you have Outlook running on multiple machines?
if I run the clean reminders will it erase future reminders and/or recurring reminders?
