Hello,
I noticed through below link that powerpoint copilot can refer to only word documents.
Other apps, however, are vague that other apps can refer to word, powerpoint, excel documents.
Which documents Word copilot can refer
(in Word case, I understand that up to 3 files are available to refer, but it seemed only word, powerpoint, and onenote)
Which documents Excel copilot can refer
Which documents Teams chat copilot can refer
I would like to know those details.
Thank you in advance.

Hi @johnnyhong,
here’s the information regarding your question:
Word Copilot:
This feature can use up to three of your existing documents to inform the content it generates. The specific types of files it can reference aren’t specified in the sources I found.
Excel Copilot:
This feature is only compatible with Excel files (.xlsx or .xslm) that are saved to OneDrive or Microsoft 365 SharePoint locations and have AutoSave enabled.
Teams Chat Copilot:
This feature pulls information from the chat thread in which it’s activated, going back up to 30 days. However, it can’t reference images, loop components, or files shared in the chat thread.

Hi @johnnyhong,
sorry but I can't offer you real detailed use case of Microsoft 365 Copilot, I still need time to test it from A to Z.
